A little pretty neck cowl..

We will be braving the snow on the East coast this week so I decided to make Elodie a pretty neck cowl with a matching flower and magnetic snaps. :)

Elodie's first sewing projects--not quite 5 years old yet too!

Handmade and all designed and sewn by Elodie--Bean Bag with heart appliques

Hand sewn by yours truly (no, not Mama..Elodie!! really)

All the appliques were pre-cut felt pieces, but she glued them on and then chose her "rainbow" color thread and used the sewing machine to sew them onto the fabric. 

et voila! the final result, filled with beans.

The project she did before this was actually her first sewing project, which was a little black and white pillow (no appliques), stuffed with polyester fill. Go Elodie!
